DR. KIM RUBENSTEIN
One of the most challenging jobs we universally share is that of growing up. We never stop.
Being on friendly terms with who we really are isn’t always so easy in relation to others, our varied roles in life, and in our personal and professional strivings. It’s an honor to spend time with those with whom I work learning from and with you, without judgment, offering genuine interest and support.
Sometimes what we think are our greatest challenges are only symptoms and repeated patterns of experiences that underly our greatest opportunities for growth and change.
The therapeutic relationship provides a safe space for meaningful dialogue, insights and planning together the application of practical insights and tools you’ve mastered (or working to master) that will lead to day-to-day improvements in your health and experiences in the world.
Embarking upon a therapy relationship is a courageous decision. In fact, therapy provides a space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviors and experiences.
Together, we will determine what works for you and what doesn’t. We will explore how you’ve become the person, the professional, the couple, the parent or caregiver, and/or the family that has found us working together. Our overarching shared goal is that of promoting your self-understanding and acceptance, productive decision-making, healthier methods for coping, day to day improved functioning and ultimately, your autonomy.
Peace of mind is something you deserve.
